Job Responsibilities:
● Research and write fun and persuasive product specific posts that people want to share.
● Promote various content resources via email, social, and other channels for more visibility.
● Learn target markets for specific products and write towards them.
● Update online resources using basic HTML (taught in-house).
● Optimize product descriptions, search results, and Meta tags for search.
● Conduct competitive search marketing analysis.
Qualifications:
● AA or BA/BS in/from an accredited university. We welcome recent grads!
● Marketing, Journalism, Psychology, Management, Business, Sales, English, and Communication major's preferred, or other highly writing-intensive disciplines.
● Ability to prioritize tasks and self manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
● Experience with MS Office, Google Docs, SEO, HTML, WordPress, MODX, and SQL a plus.
This position requires 40 hours a week, during normal business hours, and at least a 3 month commitment from the candidate. Up to a year internship or advancement may be an option. This internship pays $10.00 per hour plus lunch.
