JLFranklin Wealth Planning, a small wealth planning firm in Southern Marin County seeking a reliable, bright and organized individual with high standards of excellence to become an integral part of our office for 30 to 40 hours a week.

Thorough knowledge of Word and PowerPoint are required. Learning quickly--especially when it comes to new computer software--is vital. Since you will be dealing with financial documents, exceptional attention to detail and discretion are necessary. Many of your projects require conclusions to be documented in client letters and internal memos; as such your writing skills must be excellent.

While this job is primarily an administrative position, you can expect to do far more. You will interact closely with clients, business partners, and the other members of the JLFranklin team, including working directly with the owner of the firm on various projects. As we are a small firm, you will take on many roles, one of which will be marketing assistant.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES * Organize and manage our customer relationship management (CRM) database * Communicate with clients, brokerage firms, and other companies on behalf of the firm * Assist clients to set up new accounts and update existing accounts * Complete forms and documents * Draft and proofread letters to clients, prospects and business partners * Manage email marketing blasts using Constant Contact * Assist in execution of social media strategy * Assist in the research and writing of content for social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn) * Prepare prospect marketing materials * Develop procedures to optimize office efficiency * Help enhance our clients' wealth planning experience * Track and maintain contact with prospects, including follow-up actions and generation of analytical reports * Answer incoming calls and greet clients * General office management duties * Conduct research on the web * Plan client appreciation events

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * Detail-oriented * Bachelor's degree, preferably with an emphasis in Business or Marketing * Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology * Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint * Exceptional written and verbal communication skills * Ability to work independently and receive direction well * Demonstrated track record of taking full ownership of both large and small projects and seeing them through to a successful conclusion * Organized, flexible, self--motivated, efficient, reliable, eager to learn * Working knowledge of Excel * Financial services industry experience preferred but not required
