As a Distribution Revenue Analyst in the Central Distribution Revenue team at Micron, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting key Close, Distributor and SOX processes, performing margin analysis to influence profitability in the Channel, running various pricing analyses, and developing and publishing distributor indicators and management reports to support decision making and drive value-add in the business. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: Establishing and executing processes to mitigate risk to revenue and ensure revenue accuracy such as running weekly invoice and returns/adjustments analysis, performing pricing validations, determining if accruals/adjustment are required during Close, identifying root-cause of issues, and driving resolution with appropriate owners. Executing and ensuring adherence to key distributor policies and procedures such as calculating and tracking stock rotation and price protection, and coordinating overall D2D transfer process. Influencing profitability through distributor resale margin analysis by working with business partners to identify opportunities and action plans to improve margins. Influencing cash savings through distributor pricing analysis to ensure price changes make sense based on distributor's WOI, POS and Inventory trends, and cost and resale data. Developing and publishing dashboard/management reports to measure Channel health and profitability and adapt reports to changing needs of the business. Partnering with stakeholders across various groups to drive compliance with key SOX revenue controls. This may entail assessing key risks/gaps, identifying ownership and required action to be in compliance, and working with business partners to influence timely closure of actions Supporting integration projects/processes and driving continuous process improvement across all areas of the role. Performing Ad hoc analysis and support. Successful candidates for this position will have: Strong data integrity and detail-orientation. Strong verbal/written communication and organizational skills with ability to handle multiple competing tasks. Ability to be self-motivated and to work with minimal management oversight. Solid understanding of controls, and risk assessment and mitigation. Advanced proficiency in MS PPT and Excel with ability to create complex formulas. Knowledge of company and Distribution practices. (Preferred) Education: BS degree in Finance and/or Accounting required; MBA/CPA preferred. 5+ years of Accounting/Finance Experience.
